Our life of  self-offering, through our vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, and our  commitment to offer our lives that other might have life, give us a unique  opportunity to minister to those in need of compassionate care..

Here,  we  have the  unique privilege of working with those whose lives can be given new  hope and new light. If our mission means anything, it is that we minister to  God's poor.

Christ's face shines  out at us through the eyes of the poor, the sick, the suffering and the dying men women and children of Albania.  In them we are graced by God, and in sharing in their poverty, we find blessing,  and the meaning of our lives as women religious dedicated to the service of God  through service to humanity.

In this, our Albanian mission, we  continue to attempt to live out the dream of Jesus that the world may be one.

In a culture marked by  religious pluralism, we are called to give witness to the overarching love of  God for all of humanity. In a society torn apart by years of oppression, we  simply try to bring the good news that our ministry to the poor, the sick, the  suffering and the dying follows the mission of Jesus, who proclaimed that he was  sent to bring "good news to the poor, to release captives, to heal the broken  hearted, to bind up the wounded, to give new sight to the blind, to set captives  free, and to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour".

This we seek to do in all our  ministries of healing and in our continued prayer for all those to whom we  minister.  In imitation of and in union with Mary, the mother of Jesus and first among the faithful, we strive to live justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with our God.
